About:
America's awareness of natural disasters and bioterrorism has been heightened since the tragic terrorists attack that deeply wounded our nation on September 11th. In wake of the attacks, comes the Access Emergency Handbook, Americans Surviving the 21st Century... September 11th 2001 til. The handbook is compiled and produced by Edie Hand of the Edie Hand Foundation, the Alabama Concerned Citizens for Emergency Survival Services Committe, and Cox Radio, Inc.The September 11th attacks struck suddenly and without prior warnings, leaving America and its citizens with little time to react. Many Americans were left not only disturbed by the attacks, but asking, "What if? What if I was in that situation? What would I have done? Could I have survived? Are my leaders prepared? Am I prepared to protect myself and my family from disaster?" With the exception of terrorist attacks, Alabamians know all to weel the hardships associated with disasters. Join Edie Hand, Cox Radio and Barber's Dairy as they set out to answer these questions and more on the Emergency Survival Handbook Tour.
